Wait, what?

A few years ago, two UIUC undergrads (David Tan, Benjamin Juang) enjoyed an annual event called PuzzleCrack during the ACM R|P conferences. They found they really liked solving puzzles and when they discovered that there wasn't going to be a PuzzleCrack for ACM R|P 2011, they decided they would try their hand at running their own puzzle contest.

But neither of them had run a puzzle contest before, and planning only began around Sept. 1st, so they had little confidence it would live up to the original PuzzleCrack. Hence, the name change, to PuzzleBang!


tl;dr: Here be puzzles. They may be terrible, please don't hate us. Try to have fun.
